Beginning in October or November when local waters get a little cold to dive in, FFS&S travels to Utah to dive “The Crater”. At the Crater, we can certify people in a variety of classes and have a great time. FFS&S will resume going to the Crater in Midway, UT in October or November, depending on water temperatures. In 2022/23, our dates to go to the Crater will be available in August:
Where: Midway, Utah (45 minutes east of Salt Lake City)
Travel Time: Nine hours +/-. If you want to ride-share, let us know.
Entry Cost: Approximately $25 per day for a two-hour block.
Lodging: There is ample lodging there. We typically try to stay at a “mom and pop” hotel to support the locals.
Meals: There are numerous restaurants & sports bars. Again, we typically try to eat at a “mom and pop” café to support the locals.
