Alexis (Lexi) was born and raised in central MT and moved to Missoula in 2006. Coming from a small town without much to do in the summer, she spent nearly every day at the local pool growing up, and always loved nature documentaries about the underwater world. However, it wasn’t until an internship in Japan in 2009 that Lexi was able to leave landlocked Montana and see the ocean in person for the first time, mesmerized by the abundance of life there and yearning to one day be able to stay among them for more than a held breath.

It took a few more years, but was able to get Scuba certified in March of 2022 for a trip to Hawaii. Lexi knew the first time watching a sea turtle glide past her that this would be part of her life. Even though a newer diver, Lexi nonetheless invested herself in the lifestyle, earning her Advanced Open Water, Nitrox, and drysuit certifications (and currently working on the PADI Rescue Diver course) while working at MS&S. Lexi brings a strong background in customer service and a geek-level interest in researching all the latest Scuba gear and gadgets, she looks forward to helping others get started on their Scuba adventures as well!
