The Emergency First Responder course (or EFR) is an exceptional course that educates the common person to be prepared for the possibility that an emergency occurs. A person that is EFR certified is trained at higher standards than the common 1st Aid, CPR, AED courses. We delve into multiple scenarios and have engaging discussions. During training, you will consider emergency situations that one can only hope they will never have to witness, but are trained and prepared to proactively respond to.
The Emergency First Responder course was created by ILCOR and has raised the bar in “lay-person” training. It is the only internationally recognized training in the world. ILCOR is composed of the American Heart Association (AHA), the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC), the Australian and New Zealand Committee on Resuscitation, the Resuscitation Councils of Southern Africa (RCSA), the Resuscitation Councils of Asia (RCA) and the Inter American Heart Foundation (IAHF).
