Description
About the Course: ReActivate is the engaging, efficient way to refresh your scuba skills. Move quickly through topics you know well, dive deeper on topics where your knowledge may have lapsed. Schedule optional in-water practice with a dive professional and receive a new card that recognizes your new “ReActivated” date.
Why ReActivate?: Your PADI® certification never expires; but if you haven’t been diving in a while, it’s better to be over-prepared than risk a problem because you forget something important. Dive shops also appreciate seeing a recent ReActivated date on your certification card.
PADI eLearning®: It’s easy to fit a scuba refresher course into your busy schedule. Using a computer or mobile device, watch videos of how to perform basic scuba skills and review dive planning and safety procedures – whenever, wherever it’s convenient for you. Connect with your instructor for a water session, or whenever you have a question.
eLearning Time Commitment: 2-3 hours
With Your Instructor: Complete an optional water session where you’ll practice setting up dive gear, make ascents and descents, and review any scuba skills you may have forgotten.
Total Time Commitment: 2-6 hours
Prerequisites: PADI® (Junior) Scuba Diver certification or proof of entry-level diver certification from another training organization with four open water dives.
Minimum Age: 10
Depth: 0 – TBD
Time Off: If you haven’t Scuba’d in 10 + years, you’ll have to re-take the Open Water class. As we all know, information & skills abilities are perishable. Safety is our first concern and we take it seriously. So, if it’s been over a decade, have some fun with us and let’s get you “re-certified”!
